We pride ourselves on providing secure, relaxed, homely environments in all our homes. Omega Elifar homes are designed to the highest standards and tailored to reflect each individual homes' unique personality and local surroundings.
Our emphasis is on providing a home from home atmosphere where Service Users feel safe, comfortable and engaged in their surroundings and our facilities reflect this.
Each Home has a range of bedrooms that can be adapted to suit Service Users' tastes, including wet rooms configured to enable assisted showering, if required.
We have high-quality design in all communal, dining and bedroom areas, which are also wheelchair and disabled access-friendly and offer sensory rooms and quiet areas where they are needed.
We provide fresh, healthy home cooked meals in consultation with our Service Users. Specialist diets and nutrition requirements are catered for and we source as much of our produce locally as we can.
Visitors are welcome at any time, whether it's for a coffee, a catch-up or to take part in an activity. Family and friends are invited to join for mealtimes too, especially at the start of the Service Users' stay.
In all our Homes, we provide opportunities for individuals to engage in meaningful activity, lifelong learning and develop skills to help build their confidence and self-esteem. We encourage independence through building social networks in the service and the local community.
Our surrounding area offers a range of facilities for service users to enjoy; such as swimming, bowling, ice-skating, cinemas, libraries and theatres. Further Education opportunities for adults with learning disabilities can be accessed from a variety of local Colleges, Day Centres and training providers.
At the heart of our activities is The Hub at The Firefly Club. Every resident from our homes is an automatic member and can use facilities such as the private Hydrotherapy Pool, the Therapy Rooms, enjoy regular film showings and much more. Celebrations are a real feature of Omega Elifar and we put on themed events and parties throughout the year.
